Better check I believe there is still one more week. Late muzzle loader season. I may be wrong but wouldn't hurt to check first.

There is one week left of hunting season, so only the seasonal roads are open. That being said the hunter you might piss off on the seasonal roads might be the guy that has trails on his land. The big thing is if you ride be considerate to others, and stay on the seasonal roads. Oh and have fun :div20: Check out this web cam it's located just outside of Barnes Corners

According to club membership staff ( Barnes Corners Sno-Pals and Timberview ), they tell me trails open in the TUG HILL region on December 12, 2005.

Hope this helps.
Ride on!!!!
Ride safe!!!!!

Some trails in Southern Oneida Co. don't open until the 21st of this month, due to the extended bow season and muzzleloading season. This is at the request of some of the landowners that allow hunting or hunt themselves. Please respect their requests!!

You must remember that a large part of the deer hunters are also the property owners that I am sure you go onto their land that they gracously allow the clubs to use during the winter. Be patient

WASTA is in the Oneida Co also & our system OFFICIALLY opens on Dec. 22. I'm, thinking thats when the whole Southern tier opens since Sunday is the last day of firearm(shotgun) hunting & then it opens for a bit(10 days or so) with muzzleloader + archery late season. Dave Tackman, what's up bro? Gonna do some riding this year on a new sled or did you fix the old one? --Greg D.
