just checking to see what has to be done to put an X2 seat on a regular ProX. I've never switched before so i want to know if new holes need to be drilled for the bolts, or anything like that. Thanks

2 bolt holes for the seat, that's it... EXTREMELY easy...

what about the plastic gaurd for the rear cooling hose?
ME_600XCSP
where could I get that plastic guard, and how is that installed?

I have not looked but I'd be surprised if www.Partsland.com
didn't have that cover.

Check the 04 440 Proxr parts list.

I have bought from them several times and find them to be a stand up bunch. :div20:

rivets, if you have access to an air riveter get stainless ones.

i've got one i'll sell ya... pm me for details...

it is installed with 5 screws right thru the tunnel, self tapping screws, you can remove them trail side if you need to, i wouldn't use rivets as they would be next to impossible to remove/replace if you are out on a trip...

bonz...it's 25 bucks at Partsland. I'd prefer to have the screws now that you mention it. How much are you looking to get for everything?
Thanks
