Anyone heard if there is ice yet on Falcon Lake? Heard 8" at White Lake already. I imagine trees will be going up soon.

Rush Bay on LOW has 10" off the end of the dock. The neighbour rode across the bay on the weekend, black ice, probably at least 6 " all the way across. I would assume Falcon is the same.

Was out at Falcon lake on Sunday with a couple of friends. Lake looks totally frozen from shore and not a single trail to be found. We didn't have anything to cut a hole with but walked out and tried to get a visual for thickness. I guessed about 5 Inches at least but could be more. There is a weak base on the lake with only about 3-4" on top.

We ran up and down Trans Canada West and went as far as we could but trail starts to get too rough after 20K. Good pre-season workout though.

Got to try my buddies new Attak and compare against my Vector. Attak is incredible! Power everywhere and confortable to ride.

Best regards,

Will be there Friday and will try and check thickness and report back.

I was by Falcon this week and it was frozen over, looked like some thin spots. Lyon Lake and Barren Lake are marked, trees are up. It looks like they groomed some of the trails around Falcon too.

Was at Falcon Saturday. Did not drill through ice but looks good - at least 5-6 inched I'd say. No trees up but grooming done around town. Not much done yet on trails. Will need more snow for that.
