Very nice! Nice little trail going out to main trail.Hopefully you'l have good snow cover by your stay date so you can ride right from there. It was very clean and staff was great last year when we stayed.Have fun!

GREAT PLACE TO STAY!! TRAIL IS GROOMED RIGHT IN TO PARKING LOT!!! PLENTY OF SPACE FOR TRAILERS. ARE YOU GOING UP ON FEBRUARY VACATION?

they are not fibbing to you , its a great place to stay ,,only thing that could make it better is to have a restaurant in the parking lot,, just my opinion tho,,, we have been staying there since they opened, we have gotten to know a few of the staff on a regular basis, a girl named Sue works the desk at night, she is fantastic person, will sit by the lil pretend fireplace and just share all the info you might need,,, course to me that works both ways,,, the lil bugger even called my room @ 11:30 one night and said she had some folks in Montpelier on the phone that were staying there and were lost and asked me if i could talk them thru getting there, i did what i could and we all had breakfast the next morning, course they were just getting there,, lol ,,one day Bill and I were out riding and it was cool outside ,, like -30,,she treated his frost bite on his cheeks like she was the Mrs.,,i just ate ice cream ,,lol,, anyway , you made a great choice, anything i can do to help with info , or a ride as in a loop , just let me know , i'd be glad to help,, enjoy and stay safe

Read the post SICK...booked for the second week of February. No snow now in STJ now but a nice storm being predicted for Friday (let's hope). Even then, probably one more good storm (at least) will be needed for the valley towns in that area (STJ, Lyndon). Also, the trails don't open 'til the 19th.

hilltopper, how ya been? you still riding out of lyndon?

i ended up going to UVM instead of LSC.... but my bro is a freshman at LSC this year. too bad he sold his REV for a kawasaki brute force 750, though!

Yup, still riding out of Lyndon (Wheelock, actually) with "allison". UVM, eh....the snowmobiling sucks over there but the partying sure is great. Good luck, and tell your brother snowmobiling is way more fun than biking!!

The one complaint I have of the Comfort Inn is they make you detach your trailer from your vehicle (so they can get more customers in). They plow an extra parking area if you want to keep your trailer there...but I'm not to fond of the idea of my trailer being in a different lot. I also like to load at night so the sleds aren't covered with snow or GONE in the morning.
Have my own place in Burke now...don't miss trailering one bit.
