i have a 97 ultra 680 triple and am looking for more power fairly cheap. it is already clutched, jetted and i just aquired a set of heads for it. no pipes yet (maybe before the season ends). any ideas? how about gearing? im not looking for top speed ( like to keep at least 90 though) mostly acceleration improvements. thanks in advance for your ideas.

drop 1 tooth on the top and use a 50/36 with a silver spring. For real power get the pipes

i would put some tripple pipes on it. you can probbly find some for cheap now at swap meets.

pipes, pipes, pipes!!!
don't forget studs (lots of them).
keep the 50/36 but go to a purple secondary.

HTG Big Bore kit! There are a lot of these floating around these days for cheap. They'll push that Ultra to 170 HP.

That sled really wakes up with the SLP triple pipe set up.

up to 43 hp extra with pipes. i think SLP makes the best for ultra. makes it a force to be reckoned with. sure like the old triples.........
