The pink spring is 4.7/7.1 and the stock spring pink/yellow is 9.0/11.5.The pink spring will definetly open the vavles sooner. Why did they recomend this spring??stock??any mods??

I tried softer springs in my valves last year. The sled felt flat. No hard pull thru mid range. Low end was fine, but mid thru top end felt like the pull was not as hard, very soft. Went back to the stock springs and all was fine. Now this year I did a little mild porting and polishing, so I'm going to try them again, back to back and see if that helped. At low altitudes, like we ride, I dont think going to a softer spring overall will do anything. High altitiude, yes.

Have found out from past expierence that the poor fuel milage is d/t l low end richness. Try leaning out the fuel & air screw. Needle in midle. And maybe try jetting down a size or two from SLP recomendations.
