What colour outfit, helmet, vehicle do you have. either is awsome. I will admit Orange may go out of style if it isn't already. Whereas black will and is always in. I went with the Black Sno Pro as it matches my Truck all black and decked out in chrome.
Safety reasons breaking down or lost Orange is easier to find or spot, and Black is harder to keep clean.
It is all personal preference, and it is cool of you to give credit for the photo's.

if you go with the orang make sure to buy a storage cover to go under your trailering cover. The first time i rode this year i had just the trailering cover on and it made a black mark on the side of the bumper where it was rubbing. Looks bad, so now i have the storage cover underneath, its cotton and doesnt leave that ugly black mark.

The black one is mine and I don't mind that Oh Canada used that pic. I also went with black because most of my gear is black with a little green and because it looked the most menacing. It also matches my truck.

They are both great looking sleds but I really like the black with the Sno Pro graphics.
I bought mine before the Sno Pro came out and loved the orange with the EB graphics.

As far as the .pro goes black is the one. Regular black crossfires don't look quite as nice because of their graphics, (I bought a regular crossfire in black but I have a black & green suit and the price was right when I bought the sled this summer, $6500 with 95 miles on it).

Wottz wanted me to give you my impressions of my C7 to help make up your mind but I see you have chosen the Sno Pro.....congratulations......that was going to be my suggestion as well. The standard is perfect for me but I'm only 180 lbs and according to Wottz you're a more aggressive rider than I am.
I think the first thing you are going to want to do is change the carbides. I just put on 24" (3x6") triple point carbides, 3/8" ski savers, and shims, all from Bergstrom (which I highly recommend). It handles quite a bit better now.....the stock 4" carbides make the front push and they were wearing mostly on the front of the carbide (thus the need for shims under the back of the ski rubbers...regardless of whose carbides you choose). I put 145 miles on the original carbides and now have 55 miles on the Bergstrom's. All my comparisions regarding handling are on the Birds Hill Park trails which are pretty tight. I haven't touched anything else (coupling blocks are in the 2nd least coupled position).
I had it up to 98mph on the speedo along 59 hwy yesterday......It's really quick to 90 - 95 and I think it will top out at 100 - 105 (Mine is geared down (60/60) just like the Sno Pro).
Other than that the sled rides and handles great. I'm only getting about 75 miles to a tank....which sucks.....but my dealer assures me that this is normal and after about 500 miles it should get more like 125 miles to the tank. He said his did this last year and he has a couple other customers that had the same thing.....time will tell.
Enjoy you Sno Pro. :div20:

Is it too late for a green vote? Between black and orange, I would go black.
(why no option for the green one?)
