DRUMMER
Hey guys, Punderson is closed for now,but we just got hit pretty good,we got about 6-8" and they are calling for another foot out here. If you don't want to waste a trip, you can PM me and I'll let you know if there open. There will be plenty of snow this weekend, but they usually wait till the ground is frozen. They have a sign that they put out in the winter that indicates whether the trails are open or not, I drive past it every day, so I can keep you posted. Maybe we can meet up out there. I'm looking forward to meeting some fellow HCSers. :div20:

DRUMMER
Hey guy's!, we rode over at punderson Sunday, we met Talonman, by coincidence, he is a friend of my bro in law. We had a pretty good time but the trails will be nothing but snirt until the ground freezes. We were just desperate to ride,so we did. We took the sleds and washed em' up good top to bottom, probably won't go back till the weather gets colder, and we get some kinda base, but by then there will be better places to ride. Oh well. Also, look out for the female ranger, she's a sister with an attitude and will use any excuse to mess with you. Iv'e been riding in that park for 30 years, and never got anything but a wave from a ranger. As long as you stay off of the golf course and the cross country trails you won't get hassled, This bitch stopped me for riding along the road to the marina(which iv'e done a million times), she says you can't ride off the trail, but she's the only ranger in all these years that ever said anything. The park is basically snowmobilers and ice fishermen in the winter(except the chalet and sled hill). So wev'e always pretty much had the run of the park over the years, as long as you don't ride like a fool. This broad was hassling people for not having the 3" letters on there sleds last year, and was making people write then on there hoods IN MAGIC MARKER! The law changed years ago and she didn't have a clue! They must have set her straight this year, because she didn't say anything, and we just had our little state stickers. This bitch belongs in the city busting crackheads in the park, not in punderson. She treats people like shit, even when she's just giving a warning,(usually for something that isn't even a real offense) and yells at you like your a little kid, this bitch has got to go!!!!

recrocker,

Strange, when I pulled into the park I stopped her and asked for directions to the snowmobile trails (having left my map at home). I was on the phone with my wife (getting directions) when I stopped her and she (the ranger) snapped the direction at me in a condensending tone. My wife asked, "who was that?" Poor girl needs to get a gripe. I was perfectly polite. BTW, she cannot enforce not riding on the 100 ft of road when the trail clearly starts at that point and the only access is to road ride from the Marina to the trail head. What a nincumpoop!

Anyways, had a great time dispite the trails (I've ridden much worse) and the campground was fun for all. Good to meet you guys. We'll have to do it again sometime soon.

Cheers,

Talonman
