Looking to by a new sled and was wondering what Polaris dealerships I would want to stay away from. I have't heard anything about Alpine Powersports in Saginaw, and have heard that Shiawasee would rather sell a Harley than a sled. What about Weiss Equipment in Frankenmuth anyone have any good luck there. Service after the sale is most important to me. Thanks in advance for the input.

I have been dealing with Recker motor sports in Mt Pleasant. They have been just great. I was kind of lost after Bridgeport Polaris went out of business. But a couple of buddies said they were pleased with Reckers and I gave them a try. They have done nothing but exceeded my expectations.

I just bought a 06 switchback and the starter was junk. Needless to say I was pissed, not at them but Polaris. They couldnt begin to fix it as they have no service manuels yet. They called the rep and gave me a new sled. They took good care of me. I just cant be more pleased with them and Polaris for doing the right thing.

My neighbor was looking at a new quad this fall and I set him there. He bought one and couldnt be happier.

I deal with the service manager Casey, real good guy.

As far as Alpine sports, which is 10 minutes from my house. I went in there right after they opened. The guy came out of the back with a Artic Cat coat on. They dont sell cats. Not knocking Cat they make a very good sled, but when I buy my chev. truck the salesman doesnt have on a Ford shirt. I just thought it was in poor taste. I understand they are new to the business but they have yet to impress me when I have been in thier store. Nice bunch of guys I just dont think they know much about snowmobiles.

Good luck!!

i bought my 06 polaris fusion from alpine in saginaw. i have been
dealing with them sence they opened. Renee and Jake ALWAYS
take excellent care of me.

matter of fact, when polaris discontinued making the bibs i wanted
this fall, and i could not find my size/style anywere, Renee got on
the phone with polaris and found me some...............IN MAINE!!! Wow1.gif
she had them shipped to alpine and i had them in my hands in a
week.

i can tell you this, i USED TO deal with shiawasee, that is where i bought
my 01 XC from, but i they would have NEVER went through what Renee
at alpine did just over a set of bibs. never.

i HIGHLY recommend alpine. they have been excellent with me and i look
forward to continueing all my business there in the future.

get in touch with Jake or Renee. they can for sure help you out. :div20:

p.s., oh and about the guy wearing a arctic cat coat, give it up. he was their mechanic. and to be honest, he is not there anymore anyways.

p.s.s., and yes, anymore, shiawassee WOULD rather sell you a harley than
a sled. one of the many reasons that i do not do business there anymore.
