I have a 97 mxz670 with 4500 miles on it. Towards the end of last winter, I noticed that in the morning, there would be a film of oil floating on top of the coolant in the coolant tank. I drained the coolant and refilled it and went out riding again and the same thing happened. I have probably put 4-500 miles on it this way and it doesn't seem to be bothering anything. The compression in both cylinders is within 1 or 2 pounds, I can't remember what it was though, but it seemed really good. Does anyone have any Ideas of where that oil is coming from?? The sled still runs like a top and the plugs look the same as before. I really would like to fix the problem before it gets worse. Mike

There are some gaskets/seals inside your motor where the water pump runs your oil pump.....

Not a fun job....but it should be checked into sooner than later...or worse...too late dunno.gif
