All I can find is places that rent out 550's. I'm taking an 11 day trip there (skiing for them sledding for me) in early march and I'm looking to rent a sled or book a tour.
thanks,
rich

I rented a 2005 Arctic Cat M7 last year in Salmon Arm, BC. I can't remember the name of the rental place but I attached a link for sled rentals. One of the best adventures of my life. It's nothing like trail riding and me being a rookie and it definately showed. Good luck.

I remembered . It was Great Canadian Snowmobile Tours & Rentals. They delivered the rental to a business near were I was riding. I'm not sure if they will they are near your destination but it's worth a phone call. They have sleds up to 800cc.

This one is Whistler HeliSledder Snowmobile tours but it isn't cheap. Six hour guided tour on 800cc mountain sled

Another for Whistler. They have 2004 Summit Adrenalines 600cc. The rental per day is very reasonable.

Went out two years ago in March and dealt with i believe a company called Great Canadian Snowmobile tours. They picked us up in the village in the morning and gave us a short powder riding training course. Unfortunately the other guys I was with and the others in the group were newbies and I spent alot of time hauling sleds out of deep powder. (Not fun) The leader was good and he saw I could ride and got me one of their "good sleds" a 600 . It is not something you do without a group and the trails near Whistler aren't well marked . Bowl riding was a blast and I wish I had the Gade back then! If I was going for a number of days I would have been bored to tears. Ask around out there first thing in the morning, there are always sledders stopping at the coffee shop picking up their morning fix before heading out ! Good luck, I am sure it will be memorable!!!!

I'm actually thinking about leaving the snowboard at home and just sledding up there. Skiing and boarding just does not excite me the way sledding does. I already had this discussion with my wife stating that I will not be babysitting her non-sledding buddies if they decide to try riding with me when I do one, two or three of the tours. I've already got my brand new Troy Lee Henry replica helmet to go and some new asterisk knee braces on order. Once I return from there I will be making my comeback in the NESC Mx races in the +30 b class.
