What is the correct procedure to tension my chain (chaincase) on a 1996 Formula SS 670cc?

Also where and is my H.A.C. because I have been told to clean it but I am not sure what it is.

Also I have adjustable/varriable exhast valves. What criteria should I adjust theese too. Mabey this is my H.A.C. for all I know. dunno.gif

Chain tension: Tighten the bolt _BY HAND ONLY_as tight as you can ,then back it off untill the holes for the pin lines up! Do not over tighten!

H.A.C (High Altitude Compensator) : Was not availible on an "SS" it was designed for the "Summit".

RAVE VAVES : Need to be removed and cleaned and inspected regularly (about every 1000mi.) as far as "settings" go,turn the little red piece in all the way.
