thats stupid, what a guy. Im getting a can for my sled, i like loud machines! If people cant handle the noise, i say fuck em. Unless of course youre riding ofsc trails or similar cause that can lose trails.

That absolute bullshit!!! I hate when a thread gets hijacked like that. I got into an argument like that on this forum, there was just no winning the debate or even getting your voice heard about our POV, there is too many of them. I just try not to get involved in it and leave it to the flatlanders and there lame riding conditions. I will be the minoroty and be proud of it, I am more than glad not to have to share any of the free state land that I ride with those assholes. Here is one example of why I am pro can. Unlike the the lower 48 Alaska doesnt really have any trails to speak of, Alaska is vast to say the least. Most of the riding that me and my friends to is comprised of short trail rides to different spots that we session. Like in Petersville we find an area and we jump, carve, hillclimb, boondock some trees, and most of all, we get lost or separated. I dont know how many times I have been separated from my friends just getting turned around. You know what I do I turn off my sled and listen. My fellow Alaskans can agree that sound doesnt travel far, you can see a sled in a swamp and never hear it. If it wasnt for my loud ass can or my buddies loud ass can we still might be looking for each other. It actually just happened on Saturday we were separated for hour and a half and that s how we found each other. I know how I am about my friends, and I would look for them until I ran out of gas and froze to death, and they would do the same for me.
Like I said this is my point of view, just my two cents. Loud pipes save lives!!!

ya nobody has it better than us except maybe some canadians. But most lower 48 guys on here will admit the only reason they're against cans is because it closes their lame ass trails. I can undestand their point of view.

They (goverment, greeniers, greenpeacers, yuppies) have all tried to turn Alaska into another California. We have senators from Tennesse trying to tell us whats good for our own state and every damn time they get shut down by the people of the state. Democrat or republican they all know that Alaska is a different place. They know we live here because of it's raw beauty and the lack of laws we have to deal with day to day. SURE. if you want that go live in Los Anchorage. You want the other way of Alaskan living then live in Soldotna or Kasilof.
People in the lower 48 have NO CLUE what it's like up here and unless they live here for a few years they never will. Where else can you carry a loaded handgun and get away with it?

alaska has no conceled carry law, therefore its easier to carry a handgun in alaska than it is in texas
