I know this has been talked about a million times. I am trying to scan a picture from my scaner, then I am sizing it with Irfran View work shop to 640/480 pix, Than re saving it the new size under my Documents. Lastly I try to post it on this web site and it says " you cannot upload this type of file"??? I'm almost ready to quit trying. Any suggestions???

are you uploading the pic using the file attachment box at the bottom of the post screen? Cause I can't get a pic to post no matter what I do. I've resized, saved as a .JPG, .jpg. Tried everything I can think of. Still I cannot upload a file. Duh.

Resize till it is under 70,000 KB then try. You got the avatar on! Nick is the man to see for help. Give him a PM.

No joy. Even with a 30K file.

Make sure that after you have resized it to under 75K and its in the jpeg format that you see the file name come up in the "browse"window before you hit enter. :div20:
