You can't get onto the Buffalo run trail from the Niles trails without some roadrashing or ditch digging. Watch out for culverts!!!! The Edwardsburg trails have a lot of branches, unlike the Fourflags trails, so it splits up traffic a lot better and the trails do not get as worn as fast. :div20:
What he means by branches is trails, not tree branches!! (hey joe)
You also have to go over the river on a 100 yard + bridge to get from the niles trail to the new buffalo trail. not good.
As far as online maps for edwardsburg, nope. Go to krupp's powersports on M62 to get one.
The south bend trail is great too (I'm a little biased on this because I live on the SB trail and am a club member who helps put in the trail, but it's still a good trail). The SB trail directly connects with the trail that leads to new buffalo.
You will find times that the niles trail has more snow than SB or edwardsburg. Sometimes you will find that the edwardsburg trail has more, and sometimes the SB trail has more snow. All depends on where the lake effect snow bands set up. more times than not, the north section of the niles trail has good snow compared to the others.
