Just ordered a 1.25" Ripsaw track with 144 predrilled holes. I also ordered 1.325" Woodys. Has anyone had problems with the front heat exchanger in the ZR's? I blasted a hole through it last year with the stock track and studs, but I think it had to do with the fact that alot of the outside studs were 3/4 ripped out (meaning 3 of the 4 sides of the studs were torn off of the track, being held on by only one side of rubber.) I think as they went around the drive wheels they kinda whipped out and got the exchanger. Atleast thats what i'm hoping happened. I also think the track was a little loose. Not exactly sure though. Anyway way I could prevent the longer studs from going through the exchanger?

should not be any clearance problems. i ran a 1.25 track on my 98 ZR600 and have one on my current 900. both with the same studs.
