ok guys everyone says simons clutch kit for my 05 900 snowpro efi, so I call to get price and they said $385.00! now that seems alittle pricy to me but maybe its worth it ,I dont know but I tell you what you better be able to wup on the machz up to about 100mph for that much! :div20: I talked to someone once before that said to put 85g weights in it and 50/42 helix and that works well, same stall but makes it shift much harder in mid and top keeping rpm around 7200-7300 not 7700-7800 like mine is now. I must admit it does feal like alot of potential there! I'm ready to play with this thing now, f7's are just too close for comfort any tips would be greatly appreciated! :help:

NO, learn how to clutch and make your own if you don't want to get hosed. grinning-smiley-023.gif

I wouldn't buy one. Spend the money on some adjustable weights instead. there are lots of guys on here that can lead you to the right set-up. If not the mod or updates.

I have a 04 ZR900 and have gone from [stock] 80g's,50/36 helix to 85g's,50/36 to {update} helix 50/38.Did not install the 83gram weights from update kit.Tried a 52/42-40 helix and ended up with a 52/42 helix. This combo works well for me.I'd like to try a 54/42,I think the power is there to pull it?Lots of talk about secondary sheave mods or 06 sheaves with a new sticky belt too.

cpr comes with heavy hitter weights, primary and secondary springs. and dalton helix. Not that bad of price for the work that goes into the kits and the parts that it has.
