I just purchased an 03 800 SKS and was wondering what mods you guy's would recommend. I was thinking about putty a shorty xr seat and a pipe on it to start, also some different skis. What do you guy's reccomend. Thanks in advance. :div20:

I put a PERC kit on, electric start, heavier torsion springs in the rear (a must do) Fox Floats in front (highly recomend) Ti or stainless exhaust valves (a must do if it doesn't already have them) a 2" paddle track, walker evans shocks in back, ice scratchers, 6" carbides, 23/40 gears and a reclutch to get it out of the hole with the big track, pink exhaust springs and a windshield upgrade. Now it is a real fun trail sled that can kick butt in the rough and have fun off trail in the powder. Oh yeah it is a real nice cruiser on the groomed trails as well. I wouldn't recomend the shorty seat your better off with finding a boss highrise or better yet a boss highrise flat top. (the shorty is a cheaper route) With the long track the sweet spot is actually back farther than on a 121". I like my SKS so much I got rid of my PRO-X and bought another SKS800. I'm just getting started with this one but I have HTG twin pipes, SLP head, SLP airbox kit, Ti valves, PRO-x Skis w/8" carbides heavier torsion springs, fox floats, PERC and Ice scratchers (hey the mountain guys are on to something with these) The third SKS800 has PERC, Ti Valves and electric start and that one would be the wifes sled....... Geeze and I wonder where my money goes????????? :beerchug:
