Went yesterday (Sat) to pick up my sleds... 04 800 XC... which my wife said I had to keep or cancel my new 06 900 ( I guess she likes it lol ) Had them both out for a few rips. There was only 4 or 5 inches of snow in the field, But what a rush! New 900 hooks hard and flies! we made about six passes with my 900, the dealers 05 900 with all updates done and a "few" goodies. LMAO. He got me out of the hole just about every time, But within 50 to 100' I was either beside him or gone by. Vib are way down from last year, It was only noticable at low speeds. At about 20 to 30 Mph seemed to be gone. But I didn't do a lot of puttin around so take that with a grain of salt. The only run where the 05 beat me, I hit a little and I mean little bump about 75' from our start and the damn thing went straight up! You got to love a sled that will do that! As far as distance.... Hell I don't know! I was just having sooooo much fun i never really noticed. lol. I did however check the top speeds when we got back to the shop... Mine 85 mph....the 05 78 mph. :fluffy: :fluffy: :fluffy: :fluffy: :fluffy:

Oh yeah I almost forgot...lmao Took out the Switchback FST. Seems to ride very nice. Sterring is very light... Different kind of power, Hard to explain, felt good just different. I didn't care for the tinny sound the motor makes... but thats just me. Pulls very nice!

I got to make a few short passes with my 06 900 and like you said....what a rush!!!
it definately pulls much harder than my 02 XC800 did even with all the mods I did.
I hope the belt stands up over time!! :div20:

Lucky buggers! :div20: Hopefully those Fusions will turn out to be good, long-lasting sleds for '06! :div20: grinning-smiley-023.gif
