Hi Everyone,

Does anyone know the correct part number for the GREEN chrome windshield that came on a green 2003 ZR 900 Snopro. I know the number is different than the one for the black snopro. It may be in the 2003 or 2004 accessories catalog.

Thanks
Chris

That's the part number for the standard ZR not the snopro. Thanks anyway. There are 4 part numbers. one for each standard, snopro and the 2 colors black and green. I need the green chrome snopro windshield.

LarryV,
I believe the stock windshield on the 2003 ZR 900 SnoPro was a just the true chrome in color with some black graphics around the headlamp area. This part# is: 2606-838.

In 2004, the windshield on the ZR900 SnoPro went to a solid black with red or green graphics around the headlamp. Those part#'s are: 3606-066(black W/ green fade) and 3606-067(black W/ red fade). The windshield on the 04 ZR900 NON SnoPro was a transparent green windshield with some orange graphics that were a continuation from the hood graphics(similar to the 2003 ZR800 windshield). This part# is: 2606-810.

In 2005, the windshields were again black with graphics on them to match the hoods graphics.

The part# for a low green/chrome windshield for the ZR chassis sleds as listed in the 2003, 2004, 2005, & 2006 AC Parts & Accessory catalog is: 2639-581. I have seen a running change on this windshield from the original ones in that in 2003 this windshield had a SOLID black graphic around the headlamp and where the windshield meets the hood. Somewhere in 2004 they began using a "fade-out" black graphic instead of the solid black in the same area. They are the same part# but it just depends on how old of stock it is. I would imagine that if your dealer were to order you one directly from AC it will be the "faded black" lower graphics but if your delaer happens to have one in stock and was sitting around since 2003 it could be one of the older graphic design(solid black outline).

Hope this helps.

Hey guys,

Thanks for the help. I have to take a digital photo of the old cracked one to show you which one im talking about. I am wondering if it truly is a stock windshield. It was on the sled when I bought it new.

Has anyone else seen a 2003 ZR 900 Snopro in green? I always see them in black never green.

I bet Granite State in Pittsburg will have the number. They have a fiche that goes by make, model and color. Im thinking its the 2639-581 but I want to make sure.

Thanks
Chris

That's the standard not the snopro. I beleive the green snopro came through with a green chrome windshield just like the black snopro came to with a chrome windshield. The standards had different windshields.

Chris,
I think both the black and the green 03 ZR 900 SnoPro's had a chrome windshield on them from the factory(production). I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that your dealer installed the accessory green chrome windshield(part# 2639-581) on your sled before you purchased it.....

Let us know what you end up finding out..... :div20:
