Have been searching out a new rider forward type sled and checked out the local polaris dealer today. Liked the look of the 600HO, gauges are great and the selective steering is interesting. They are also offering a three year bumper to bumper warranty which is in itself very impressive. So I was hoping to hear some honest opinions about ride quality, fuel mileage ( if anyone has some miles on one) etc, etc....

Thanks in advance!! :div20:

Geez, are you guys all running 700 & 900's??

Only rode mine for 2 miles, but I can say WOW!!! Wow1.gif

The low end power and power around 60 is awsome, only hit 75 for a top speed (didn't wanna piss the neighbors off).

I love the apperance of the sled!!!

I have been considering one also. I can get the poo for less than a doo or cat 600.

I've heard some critize the looks, even a few mags made comments. Me, I like it and have no problem being different.
Have you got electric start on yours? Dealer wants an additional $800, wonder if I could do without?
How about mirrors? Yeah I know it's a performance sled but I have to keep an eye out for the wife, don't want her to disappear in the distance
I know it's early in the season, hopefully as the snow flies I can get some more feedback. :fluffy:

The 600.. All I've heard is good things! As for elec start, I ordered my 900 with it... Pulls HARD at -20! I think the 600 you could do without...But hey if you like it, put it on!

Don't tell anyone I was here and said this... The Fusion 600 HO would be my pick of a new 06 model sled without hesitation. I've never had much good to say about Polaris ergos in the past but this sled is truly awesome, especislly if I could get the spring order M-10 version with the 128 x 15 track. The other part of this perplexing situation is for a newer used sled I want a 04 Pro X2 600 (seemingly impossible to find locally). Next year I may very well be on a Polaris. It's hard to deny that either one of those sleds is what an American motorhead belongs on. The Liberty 600's are the bomb from what I understand. Heck even the Pro X 550 fitted with a X2 seat is badass looking. I could certianly feel good about buying a all american sled designed and assembled by american minds and hands here in America. :beerchug:

I had the pleasure to finally ride my 600 ho and I will have to say I have never ridden one better! This is my first Polaris and so far I won't be looking back. I put about 65 miles on it this weekend and was very impressed with the power. up to 60 or 70 it seemed to pull almost as hard as my zrt 800 and would probably take it to 20 or 30. It comes out of the hole very quick and I still have 40 to 1 mix in the tank. The front suspension is awesome it chewed up any bump that I've thrown at it. The rear seemed a little stiff but with higher speeds would probably work good. I rode with the wife and kids some so didn't get to ride hard all the time. I seem to like the bars at 4, it works well for me both standing and sitting. Gas mileage seems to be a little better than my cats, but its hard to tell, I was doing a lot of hole-shots, should be better trail riding at steady speeds. The guage it awesome, I love to warm it up with the temp guage!

I don't care what the mags say out there, all in all this sleds a winner and should make an ass out of the other 3 manufacturers in its class!!!! :div20:

The mags are praising the 600 HO about as hard as one can praise a sled.

Yep, that's true :div20:

The only critisism I've read has been about the styling

Styling is ALL opinion. dunno.gif Can't be measured or tested. Personally, I think the Fusion looks way better than a Rev.....................But I have always thought that Revs are FUGLY.............. frech11.gif :frech32:
