05's were brutally rich. Anybody checked their 06's yet? I haven't had a chance to ride and wondering how far should a guy turn it down before riding. I know, I know, I should ride it first to check but I'm still running 100:1 in the tank anyway on the first tank so even if it is slightly lean, I'm covered. Also the 05's could safety be turned down 2-3 turns out of the box.

I've been told that the 06's are better than the 05's were but no one seems to have had enough snow for long enough yet to really figure out yet. Just leave it stock and check the average ratio for the first couple tanks then adjust as necessary to get to 50:1. If I remember correctly the 05's out of the box were as rich as 35:1. Let me know what you find out after your Dec 17th ride trip...I won't be there!

hopefully Cat changed the 06 oil pump rate.
My 05 M7 LE initially was pumping 17:1 doing easy trailrunning to break it in.
