I agree that would look sweet. Maybe even try it without the Poo stickers on at all. I took off mine and like it.

Hey that looks familiar :div20: By the way alittle wd-40 will take the sticker residue of your windshield. If it's stubborn to remove, heat it up first.

Are you pulling the decals off when they are still hot, or do you heat it up then let it cool down before you pull the decals? I have the heat gun in my left hand and pull the decals with my right. I removed all my warnings and hood decals in an hour start to finish including clean up (WD-40 is great!) fart.gif

He was thinking about them. Then his brother photo shopped it and it looked pretty stupid. He was trying to get a very subtle look and the chrome lettering was alittle to much he thought. Might look better if you have chrome vents dunno.gif . Either way the sled looks sick now. IMO the red out of the decals looks best but I might just be bias because it was my work.

what did u cut them with so u dont wreck the hood.?
braaap11889
razor blade. I have about 30 hours of cutting decal expierence. Never messed up a hood yet. The idea is to not cut the decal all the way through just perferate it just before the blade break through. As you probably know you need a very steady hand. Try to get a mechanics stool so you can sit and be comfortable. Its better to go over the edges twice the cut to deep the first time. I usually start peeling before cutting so as I cut I can pull the decal off so I know the I'm on the right track.

I read alot of posts about removing decals, I can tell you that after 13 years in the auto body business I have tried alot of different products that "supposedly" remove decals. If you want to remove the entire decal without fucking up your paint you can do it for around $9.00! Any local auto supply store should carry this product if not get it for you.I've been using this thing for about 7 years ,nothing works like it! It will not hurt your paint(unless it's an old laquer job) Fast as Fast can be! http://www.mytoolstore.com/astro/astmat06.html

If you clear over the chrome paint it will go grey. My experience anyway. I think the clear is laquer and the chrome was enamel so a reaction made it grey.

Yes and motorcycles, cars, trucks you name it.Once you try it you'll never use anything else.It leaves absolutely no glue residue behind.I use to work on alot of state police vehicles, you can imagine the joy when seeing those shit boxes come in ,vinyl decals everywhere. That's where I started using these, there like a big rubber eraser. As fast as you can move with it the decals are removed. :celebrating:
