con-fusion 700
Went out for a quick ride in the snow for the first time with the 700 tonight.
What a blast!!!  Made four passes down a natural gas line that gets whooped out from all the 4-wheelers. Had 6-7" of snow, some of which was packed down by the 4-wheelers earlier today. Some things that I noticed (in order): :beerchug:

I noticed that there was SOME engine vibration at slower speeds when putting through my neighborhood, but I would not consider it abnormal for a 755cc twin. Did not notice any vibration once I got up to (about) 15 mph. :div20:

The power delivery is very smooth, engine is very torquey. :div20:

The front suspension sucked up any mogal I through at it with ease with no bottoming. :div20:

The rear suspension action was very good, but seemed like it MAY be set up a tad light from the factory. Nothing a quick adjustment can't handle. :div20:

The steering didn't seem all that heavy, unless turning very sharply at slow speeds. dunno.gif

Can't wait for some more snow, and the real trails to open! :celebrating: :div20: :beerchug:

The 700 is showing 15 more miles on it today. MAN, DOES THIS THIS EAT UP THE BUMPS!!! :beerchug:  :div20: I was able to ride the whoops alot faster today , as I could see alot better than last night. I am totally impressed with the way this sled handles the large whoops at speed and on the gas. Just seemed to float over mogals with little effort, and tracked straight as an arrow no matter how fast I went , even if the mogal was higher on one side....no darting what-so-ever!!
I know a report at 20 miles isn't the same as one after a full riding season, but............so far I am completely impressed with this sled. :div20: :div20:

Glad to hear you are happy. Let's keep this positive trend on a roll this year. :div20:

Right on buddy. :beerchug:
I'm happy for you and Polaris especially since you had mentioned you had reservations in some other threads.
The Fusion look is growing on me. Looks good on the snow.
I still hope you don't tow my F7 with your Tug. :augen41:
Keep us posted.

Thanks Steve.
So far, so good.......I am truly impressed. :beerchug: Had a buddy of mine come over today and take it through the whoops at speed. He too was impressed with the ride and handling. :celebrating: By the way.......I don't carry a tow rope, so I guess I won't be giving you a "TUG"....hehe frech11.gif
Here's to a great season for all!!! :beerchug: :beerchug:

Glad you like your new ride. Keep us updated on that 700. :div20:

Had mine out today, put 15m on.
Same comments as Con-fusion 700, only vibration is at idle, once you get moving it is smooth. Steering is alittle heavy at slow speeds but lightens up as you get moving.
Sit back on this seat alittle and it has no problem picking the ski's up and stretching the arms.

If first impressions are a sign of things to come then this is going to be a great year.

What was your clutch engaging at? Only have loaded mine on the trailer so hard to judge engagement. Also next time if you run your sled mark the clutches with caulk or dry-marker and note your rpm’s your running and what range your belt is riding on the clutch sheaves.

Just got back from our cabin and wish I would have taken the sled up for some break-in miles. Had about 8” on the ground but the roads were good and hard packed which would have worked out good for break in time.

With being so damn pumped up about riding, I never even really looked to see what rpm the clutch was engaging at!!! :banghead: I am going to try to take a spin in the A.M. (before the weather starts getting warmer. ) If I manage a ride, I will mark the clutches and note the engagement rpm.

You are gonna LOVE your 700!!!!!!!!!! The suspension is great, and the engine pulls like a friggin freight train! :div20:

Sounds like a nice sled. I gotta admit, it seems Polaris has their stuff together this year. My brother got a 600 Switchback so I'm excited to ride this.
Have fun!
