Just to let you guys know I weighed all 3 pieces of the dynoport combo against the stock exhaust parts and the difference in weight was 22 lbs.Not a bad weight savings. The stock can was 3 times as heavy as the dynoport can, stock pipe was twice the weight of the dynoport pipe and the same goes for the y-pipe. :div20: to dynoport.

Any performance gains besides the weight savings?
sayatodaU.P.eh?
reflash for the dynoport or no?

Rich Daly at dynoport said 10-12hp gain and you don't need a reflash neither.

As I said in other posts. I have the HTG/Dynoport pipe combo. Looks and sounds sweet. Can't wate to run on the snow. With V Vorce reeds add three HP. No reflash 7550 peak RPMs.

So what exactly do you have? Do you have a Hot To Go pipe or a Dynoport pipe? A Hot To Go muffler or a Dynoport muffler. 2 totally differant companies.

Actually there both the same, sorta. Rich(Dynoport) and Rob(HTG) work together on alot of stuff. I talked to Rich at the Novi snow show in Michigan. On this combination Rich did alot of the developement of the exhaust manifold and muffler, Rob on the pipe and Rob has the stamping processes for production. Alot of the HP comes from the shape exhaust manifold. And if you look at the bottom underneath inside the muffler there is a donut shap flange. Rich said it took him a long time to find the correct location of the flange the get the correct back pressure for the HP. I got my exhaust system in July. What was delivered was an exhaust manifold, exhaust pipe with a HTG symbol on it , and a muffler with a Dynoport symbol on on it. All ceramic coated. One of the biggest reasons why you don't need to recal with HTG/Dynoport is the shape of the exhaust manifold. SLP sells only the pipe and muffler. They need to recal because they spin the motor higher and above 7600 rpms the engine starts to retard spark. HTG doesn't want you to spin the motor any higher than 7550 rpms max. The production engine fuel cal is typical Polaris rich safe, so with the pipe the fuel cal works nice. As the gentleman said earlier 22 lbs weight savings and 12-15 HP with pipe and reeds, the sled should rock.
