Heavy Snowfall Warning

I've been watching this area. There are a few trails open and groomed already and now the heavy snowfall warning. I saw some posts of some people heading there this weekend. Apparently about 600km will be opened by Dec 3 if the weather holds.
I am thinking of going up in the next week or so. Definitly before xmas.

Where exactly is this place? I've never been there but I may consider going aswell. I cant take much more of just looking at the new sled..lol :doh:

Monts Valin is a park about 20km north of chicoutimi (near lac saint-jean) although the whole area around the park is called monts valin. It would be about a 10 hour drive from saint John. I e-mailed a buddy to see if he is interested.

The upcomimg week shows a warm-up Mon-Thursday !!! I hope this is one time the weatherman is wrong. Then too, a little warm up followed by a hard freeze would probably help the trails>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Just got back from there today. tons of snow but I would recomend going on a weekday(lots of traffic on the weekend). Unbelivable conditions though. It's a winter paradise.

462 miles up there this weekend. bit of a drive in nasty weather, but worth every minute to ride in november!!
