Hi, I bought a left over 05 ZR900 EFI SnoPro this summer. It's back at the dealer now getting preped. A couple of months ago there was a topic about spark plugs and this engine. I seem to remember some of you were running hotter plugs to wake up the midrange? I wrote down the plug number then (NGK) but lost it. Can we go over this again? What are you running any why. Thanks!

Factory plug is an NGK-BR9EYA. Some are having success using the new NGK irridium plugs-BR9EIX at around $10 each. These are the same heat range, not "hotter in the midrange", but require less voltage to fire under adverse conditions due to the much smaller electrode and last considerably longer due to the irridium. Both of my sleds run great on them but as far as a horsepower increase?.................. dunno.gif

Make sure they have a solid cap on the top of the plug. The screw on tops can vibrate loose and can cause ecu or other electrical problems.
