enybody ever made that trip how many miles?
BBW
Did it a few years ago. I actually left from the Northwestern area, up through west Lyden, up to Tug Hill, over through Brantingham, to Stillwater, up the railroad bed to Lake Placid, and back. Not sure of the milage, but I think it was about 330 or so round trip. You have to do it a year we have lots of snow, so the railroad bed Northeast of stillwater can be groomed properly. It is a nice one day trip.

the rail bed past Norwidgewok has to a LOT of snow cover before anyone uses it. The rails can be exposed and crossing some of those bridges - you could get stuck in them
