This is probably in the wrong forum, Rob will move it if he wants to, anyway here is the deal,,,, Bill and I are planning a ride from here in Argyle, NY to Maine and back, we will leave here on a Saturday morning and arrive in St. J. saturday afternoon or evening, stay the night there, the next move is where we would like some input and opinions, options are riding up to Canaan over in the Pittsburg, NH area, then into Rangely, ME, staying another night in Maine, then down towards Bethel area, then finding our way back across NH, near the Gorham and Littleton area, then back to St.J., or totally reversing starting towards Littleton. Does anyone have any information or opinions as to where we could rest the night and get a meal in Maine or NH, keeping in mind a 200-250 mile stretch for a days ride each day ? We are also going to need maps, for NH, and Maine. Getting from here to St. J. is easy, we have already done this it is 213 miles, and we have riden VT for many, many years. This entire trip pretty much revolves around VT for us, it is why I posted here.
I sure hope mother nature pays attention,, *S*,,, Think Snow !!!!!
P.S. Rob tell the better half is was a pleasure meeting her at the Essex Craft Fair, I could have stood there and gabbed with her all day,, *S*
Thanks in advance,
Donna & Bill
