people should be fined........a person goes out and pays 10 grand for a sled but cant spend the 60 80 dollars for the trail permit.....come on guys............ all the clubs are fueled by trail passes so get out there and buy em, only a few days left to get em for 60 bucks, after dec 1 they are 80

In most provinces and states "Groomers are Powered by Trail Passes"!!
I don't understand how some people can ride on a well signed and groomed trail and not feel they should contribute some how. Yes, I know sometimes they are not table top smooth but there is only so much volunteer time and money. Regardless they are beter than if there was no organization.

Don't get me wrong, I am a club member ($200/yr) and an avid permit suppporter.

We were in Nfld last year and did some major miles. Probably 98% of it was backcountry and non groomed trails!

Hard to justify a permit there! dunno.gif

If you drive the trails, then you should definately buy one !

it depends on what part of the island you are riding i guess. for me personally i ride from COrner Brook to the Lewis Hills about 30 miles away. i'm sure as hell thankful that i have the luxury of riding a groomed trail into and out from the backcountry. well worth the $60-$80 we have to pay.

You have to pay to play in my opinion. Oddly enough though, the majority of people I hear complaining about the trail conditions at the Warm Up Shacks are the people too cheap to buy the sticker. boxen.gif

already got my pass, now we just need some more snow.....

corner brook area has some really great trails, i don't see why anyone would not pay the 60-80 for a pass....
