So I go and buy a used 05 mach z and get it home,pull the exhaust off and see the mag piston is curved down to the top ring. The sled is still under warranty, just wondering if this is a problem with the mach

not a common problem at all imo. these 1000's have been fairly bulletproof. how was pipe removal???? i just had mine out of my gade and left about a pound of knucklemeat in the engine bay trying to get some of those springs back on, wow!!! i ordered a bigger, longer, stiffer springtool after that ordeal....

The Pipe is a son of ___ :frech32: __ to get in and out I ended up making my own spring tool that worked fairly well.The sled goes in Sat. for new piston and all the updates. I read somewhere that they will put a whole new top end on it but did not ask the dealer, anyone else heard this?
