Start in Mt laurier area and go visit the trails 13 & 33 and 319.

There are some unbelievable outfitters in the middle of nowhere with great places to get a dinner/room/breakfast. Not to mention alot of trails that are not on the big FCMQ map.
you can go North to Parent/Clova area and if the conditions are right you'll think you died and went to heaven. Here are some tips on places.

Beauregard ++++++ (owner Jean Luc) pronounced "john luke" owner and die hard SKIDOO Summit rider. Has a place that is absolutely outta this world. You will not be sorry here. Right on Lac Beauregard it has 4 brand new cabins that have 4 seperate units each in them, 3-4 other nice older cabins and a one year old main lodge that is as classy as it gets. Awesome food, pool table, bar, big screen......all out in the middle of nowhere running off a big diesel generator. Call before hand as they are sometimes full with French tourists.
819-623-6212. Tell him Chris & Andre told you about the place. 65-70.00 per person for dinner/cabin/breakfast

Meekos ++++ 819-623-2336 A little place in the middle of nowhere that is now a BIG place in the middle of nowhere. They built and UNBELIEVABLE Timber Log main lodge about 2-3 yrs ago. It is awesome inside. When I was there last the owner was showing me the rooms that are part of that building that were not quite done yet but looked awesome as well. Also have cabins out back but cant speak for them.

JB Scott's +++ at the intersection of 13 + 33 trail. It has been there forever. Only stayed there once many yrs ago but have eaten there several times and it is better now than what I remeber it being. Think I have gotten feedback that the rooms/cabins are better now than I remember them being. Think new owners 5 yrs or so ago????

Le Fer A' Cheval++++ North of Scotts on the 13 about 30 mi. Really in the middle of nowhere. Great main lodge and food and brand new two story addition that has like 20+ rooms. Saw it under construction too last year. Awesome place to bed down and wake up in the morning and lay the "smack" down into Parent. Doubtful(not promising) you would not see another sledder for 60 miles into Parent if you left from this place at 7:30-8:00 a.m. One morning yrs ago a buddy and I woke up there to find the groomer just pulling in. He was out all night, coming from Parent. The next two hours my buddy and I had a ride that I still remember today as one of my "fondest" memories in all my years riding.
Their number at the Cheval is 819-667-2525

The farther north you go........the better it gets!!!!!!

Good Luck!!!! :beerchug: luxhello.gif smiley-faces7.gif
