Can anyone tell me the stock main jets that would be in a 96 XLT???? It's the 597.....not the older 580.

Bought the sled bored and clutched, but would like to go back to stock jets instead of living on the edge with the current ones(one size down from stock)....or so i was told when i bought it...LOL!!!

yeh ... who cares what stock was, if you think your lean, then go up one or two sizes. It's all feel anyways.

You said it was boreed and cluched, so stock jetting is not what you want anyway.

Thanks guys.......it was bored .020 over due to a piston letting go. Not much of a bore, but he told me if it's -30, and i decide to be sledhead when it's that cold, i should re-jet, otherwise you know what may happen......... :augen41: :augen41:


I'll leave it for now, and see how it goes......maybe just raising a needle will tune it up enough.........

No -30 yet, so should be good.
