Book calls for Br8es, but the sled came with Br9es. What's best.

The 8's are a hotter plug. I thought they came with the BR9ECS or something like that?

either will work fine. the BR8ES's are hotter plugs and don't foul out as easy. i run 9's in mine since the jetting is right on the edge, gives a little protection from burn down.
