Remember that sleds got 110 hp and thats what most 600 are running. He can always make go faster with some mods.
f-5snopro
the sled puts out a claimed 104 hp , on the lakes its no contest against the bigger sleds but trail riding its no problem at all ! i rode with f-7s and nevr had a problem whatsoever keeping up .

how many studs for an f5 standard? 102 or 136?
FireF5Cat
I own a F5 and it is the perfect trail sled!!!!! It has plenty of power for my needs and plus the insurance sure is alot cheaper too!!!

Great sled! I would buy an F5 again. I would get the sno pro next time because I am 210 pounds and bottom out the back once in a while. That kills my back.

I'm the same age and weight and have no problem with the power of the F5. Plenty of power for the woods, and if you smoke them in a 1/8 mile on the lake ....you win regardless. An F5 is a excellent choice! :div20: :div20:

Amen,

I would buy one again, just make sure the recalls are done on it

1. Exhaust Cables
2. Pull Cord
3. Slide Rails (verify not cracked)

If you get an 04, then no worries......

I put about 1500 miles of mixed riding on mine last year, mostly trails but a few lakes here and there, had it up to 104 on the speedo ( I know I know guys, its not THAT accurate)....
But I still enjoyed every minute on the sled....
PROX-FIRECAT
It's a great sled, and it will run with most 600's. I like mine a lot. ylsuper.gif i_need_snow.gif i_need_snow.gif i_need_snow.gif
