Thats been the worst kept secret going. Hate the location though. Not sure how they'll pull it off. The CPTC would have been better imo but at least they're coming back.

Yeah I heard a while back but nothing was actually confirmed until very recently.
I've got a buddie whose kids race the circuit and he was telling me about it months ago but I didn't believe it untill I saw it posted on the site. Updated Nov 10.
I mentioned to Ray that I thought Can West was too small but he seems to think its a much better location with better sight lines and more room. Not sure how he figs there is more room but hey I'm not gonna dis agree with a guy who is driving the team trailer around to the different locations. I fig he should know.

I'll say its a better location for me anyway. Now I can go get hammered and its one bus or a short cab home as apposed to the other end of town.
I did not like the downs very much. Never have.

On the other hand I always liked CPTC but again too far for me.
The only problem i've got this year is that the date is prime riding season and RIDING COMES FIRST.
Maybe my new green machine will be broken down and I'll have time to go LOL

Awesome, here's hoping it goes well. Maybe they'll get better turnout now that it's right in the city...you never know.

Sounds like a really cool location. Tons of parking, every seat a good one, better food, beer, etc.

...But what are they gonna charge us???

If its the usual extortion; FUCK EM!!!

It's not a bad location but the part I wonder is where will the truckes be parking. Take a look at all the team haulers. They're gonna have to be right there beside the park. Is there room for them ?

Maybe you can car pool with Don ? Save a few bucks. :lol2:
LAYNLOW
probably close a couple of streets in the area...ie waterfront drive behind the outfield wall

I just wonder how many jackasses from St.B are going to complain about the noise from the mods. The Saturday schedule seems to go late, but that's the best racing under the lights. The viewing/seating I think will be far better than the Downs. BRAAAAAPPPP
W.F.O.
where and when for the tickets?

As of Friday they were unsure of when tickets would go on sale. I was told a box would cost around $800 but that figure would likely change.

What else would be available for indoor seating? Thats one thing about the downs that I really liked.
LAYNLOW
prob nothing else for indoor seating.. thats all they have are the boxes... BUT if i am corredt there are only about 20.. and if canwest rules all apply the ones that have them for the baseball get first dibs on ALL seats if ther are a season ticket holder for the goldeyes
