I have an 04 800 classic , that has a tough time in corners, wants to go straight.
I have the stock 2 wide carbides on it with the third running down the middle of them. Id like a good ski and to be able to go back to a singlerunner, any suggestions?

I don't think its your carbides. It probably needs more ski pressure. You could start by making sure the ski springs are adjusted tight enough. There are some on here with more knowledge than me on this subject. Skid adjustments would be next before spending money on carbides.

the stock 4 inch did not work for me also .in the dooleys I am running 6 inch woodys with no studs ,it made a big difference but if you are studded go with the 8 inch . my next set will be the 8 inch .I love the way the dooleys track I can cruise down a trail with one hand at times thats how nice they track. and as for cornering a 4 inch dooly bites the same or less as a single so i would go to more carbide before spending money on new skis and just as a note my earier year M-10 was realy squirrelly on single carbides

Skis will help but you reaaly need to dial in some more forward bite on the skid. IMO the stock skis are weak and I wanted a different look but if you don't have your skid adjusted to add ski pressure new skis will disapoint you too. I ran C&A Pros on my Classic and with a lot of bite they really carve but in contrast make for really heavy steering. Be careful what you wish for.
