:tease: In a normal season is there any riding in Gaspe the 2nd or 3rd week of December?? Is still considered early season riding??

Other than the high country in the interior of the Gaspe you would be hard pressed to find any riding in that time frame. Last December we had limited riding in northern NB from the middle of Dec but we had a melt down after Christmas. This pic is first ride of the year Dec 14th.

I was told last Saturday that there was snow in the Matapedia Valley. I suspect that would mean somewhere between Albertville and Pionte a la Croix. The person that told me didn't think they were grooming yet. I believe to start grooming in PQ all signage has to be completed and signed off to the FCMQ to start.

hi !!! right now in the matapedia valley its really poor for snow.here in town thre s only fleurries and tuesday i went to my cabin to see mooses and there was maximum 6 inches of snow.this afternoon i talked with a guy who works on the truck logging road here and he said there s 6 to 8 inches up 75 miles in the wood goig to la cache .lots of rain in november.last year we began to groom on december 12
