Please take note that not all of the trails open on the same date. If you ride on trails that are not open then you risk losing the trail completely. Please respect closed trails. We have already lost enough trail. Thank you.

Cherry Creek Sno Goers Trails: Open December 12.

Lake Effect Trails: Open December 19.

Southern Tier Sno Drifters: Open December 21.

If anyone knows the for sure date on Southern Tier's trails please post. If there are other dates, post that to. If you are not sure if you are on open or closed trail, turn around. It's better to not tick off a landowner, making them close their trail off.

Also, 55mph speed goes into effect Feb. 27, 2006 (180 days after law passed) This is 100% accurate, I spoke with Victor Wood, NYS Office of Parks, Rec. & Historic Preservation.

Wyoming County. All Clubs. County wide.

Our snowmobile trails do not open until after whitetail deer season.

Muzzle loader season ends on Dec. 20 so our “Opening Day” is Dec. 21.

Our gates will be up until then.

Anyone riding before 12/21 will be considered trespassing and will be dealt with on an individual basis.

Everyone that reads this thread is well informed, please pass the word and tell everyone that rides the snowmobile trails in Wyoming County that they will not open until December 21.

We have to respect the landowner because if we abuse it, we lose it!

any info on when tug hill opens?
tughillprox2
tugg hill and the adirondacks open Dec 12th. Snodeo weekend in Oldforge kicks off the opening of the trails in the N Country, so you can use that for a bench mark every year.

I just hope they dont go overboard and start setting up radar traps at the end of every corn field,i think it should be a tool to use when someone is being wreckless.

Look at "tughillprox2" post.

I would guess that the trails do not open till after deer season. The date is Dec. 12th.

I would have to agree with him.
