ive never ridden each, but a few i saw on the trail (non rentals) were very dissapointed in the polaris. when it pulled up it sounded like a overworked vaccum cleaner, high pitched busyness and rough sounding. they did say it rode well though. id wait for the prices of the turbo to go down and enjoy the 2 strokes while yu can

I've ridden an '02 Cat 660, and it's very smooth, although it could have used a bit more power... it was enough for what it is.

Don't take this as gospel but...
A magazine review comparing the AC, Poo and Doo 4 strokes said they'd go with the Doo.
Poo was way to gutless. AC was powered okay for cruising. But the Doo actually had enough grunt to have some fun. All are heavy. I seem to recall them saying the AC handled best. Tell your buddy to search the archives of SnowTech, Supertrax and Snow Goer (the Canadian Snow Goer). I don't recall which of these had the write-up. I subscribe to all three.

our dealer let us have a t660 toruing this spring for a few hrs. what a machine, i thought it was most comfortable, warm sled i had ever been on. my Dad and a friend both oredered them after riding on it. we all just loved it, we were comparing it to a 2002 pantera 600 which we had out with the t660 touring. the t660 walked all over it in performance, handling, the ride was even better than the pantera. and its hard to beat the ride of the pantera. the front of the t660 touring was great. heavey but u didnt notice it much. it was almost a benifit when riding into the corners, when hitting a rut or bump it was very stable. I really dont see how u can go wrong with the t660. we figure we got around 24 mpg with it. and we put it through a test. we drove hard and like i said did a few test runs on an old air strip out back of my house. so if your one to just cruise around i can see u getting even better gas mileage with this sled.

the t660 is rated at 110hp. It is also in the best trail chassis out there. It has curved bars and a pos-sens rear shock.

was talking to a guy last spring who had the doo four stroke. he wasnt very impressed. he siad it was way to heavy and it was terrible in snow. was just like a snow plow when u got off trial. but he did say for just trial riding it was ok, but the performance wasnt there at all. yes the t660 is putting out like 110 hp, but look at the tourque it has. very close to what it has in hp is what i saw in the new snowtech mag. very impressive.
