Not sure how many NH members also enjoy our states lakes in the summer. However if some of you do, please be aware that there is currently a movement to put a speed limit on the lakes in NH. It is know as HB162 or House Bill 162. Due to be brought to the house floor in January! Many people thought that the bill would never make it out of commitee, but it has! The people that support this bill are the same people who also complain about us snowmobilers. You know who these people are, they are always looking out for peace and quiet and all the woodland creatures and the enviroment. It just happens that it affects recreational vehicles everytime... Strange coincidence? I think not! Please keep in mind if they pass a "boating" speed limit on NH's lakes that would open the door (potentially) for a snowmobile speed limit on ALL NH lakes! YIKES!!!
