Mark your calenders. FEB 18,2006 is the Annual Sandwich 60 Sled Dog Race. (www.yshc.org) This is a great event that harkens back to the days before snowmobiles. The Wonalancet Sled Dog history is long and rich. Check out the available information online.
For visiting snowmobilers to the OVSC trail system we give you this information for your long term trip planning. The trail system west of White Lake SP on Saturday Feb 18, 2006 will have all or some sections closed depending on the route the sled dog race organizers plan. Please beware of this and plan accordingly. Trail Patrol will be out in the trail system giving information on trail closures that day.
