I just pcked up an 04 Pro-X2 600 to run this coming winter. Any tips for things to check/do to this beast? I don't usually run full bore all the time. I'll post a pic now that my daughters wedding is over and I have some free time.

P.S. Ronny I fixed my daughters problems with her 2001 XCF. She got my Pro-X 550 fan (traded her XCF in for the X2). Wow1.gif

did you get it as a leftover new or used? if used what does it have on it studs etc.

I like mine, I had to jet it down 2 sizes. If you have a hard time starting it when it's warm look into jet size.

Strong, tough sled...

It was a used sled and it does have studs. As for jetting, I was thinkng about getting a Tempa Flow unit for it. I've heard nothing but good things about them.

SLP air horn kit is a good improvement for little money. Worked real well on my 03 pro x 600, much better air flow while using the stock 440 main jets. Also geared down to 22/40 and up to 62 gram weights. This combo rips in the pro x 600's. :div20:

For those who want to study this more, here is SLP High Flow Air Horn Kit (big mouth) It does not have a downside other than the cost. The versions for the ProX style airboxes also fit the '06 600 HO.

Well I got the ProX2 out on the snow today. What a sled. I liked my old 550 ProX fan but this 600 X2 blows the 550 away. Love the way it sits and goes. Can't wait for the VAST trails to open.
