my 02 zr definetly needs a traction boost, but im tryin to decide between a 1.25 track or studs. My uncles F7 snopro does fine without studs, so im thinking about the track, but we do ride on some icy trails. what do you guys think.

Add the studs. Sounds like you do a lot of trail riding so studs will definitely help. The 1.25'' track will also help in combo with the studs. I didn't get the 1.375" on my '03 F7 and I'm starting to wish I ordered it on my '04, but oh well.

Add the studs you ride in MI so your definetly going to ride icy trails.

thanks guys
teamcat24, one question, my track has .85 lugs, will the 1.175's be too long?
Also, are they new?

I thought the track was a 1" track not .85". I have a '02 ZR 600, that I'm
selling by the way, and I thought it was 1". I have 1.075 studs. I don't think
that 1.175" would be trouble. Better to ask Dan or GF7PE though.

I would guess the track is closer to 1" lug height. The 1.175" will work fine on a track like yours. I just picked up my '04 F7 Sno Pro with a 1" track and I will be using 1.25" studs for that. The studs are brand new in packages. All I have is purple angled backing plates. The only backing plates I will use are Saber nylon angled backers. With the longer studs being used, they offer the support needed to keep the stud straight enough to stay effective. You have to drill your holes a little closer to the track lug for these to work properly. Email at fdpirate24@adelphia.net if interested.
