First, this has nothing to do with the manufacturer of the machine, just the dealer.
I was paging through the Super Shopper that I was handed at the snowmobile show (expired a week and a half ago) and I came across a nice 2-page ad for St, Onge Recreation. There was a large list of used sleds, atvs and trailers, but the rest of it was all advertising the Mach. They listed "The Mach Z 1000 SDI the all-you-can-eat power buffet", then on to say "Largest SKI-DOO dealer in Ontario!" and finally... "2006 Mach Z 1000 SDI, 140 HP, Lighter than 4 Stroke, Faster Than 4 stroke, Better Handling, Better Ride"...
Wait a second... what? Mach Z = 140 hp?
idiots :frech32:
I know its only a typo, but for the amount of money that this ad cost, the volume that would have been distributed at the show and the ones purchased in stores, it kinda makes me think that next time they should get another person to proof read it first. The text is also inconsistant; the line under "140 hp" has "than" while the line below that has "Than". If you are going to put capitals on all of the words, then do it and make sure that you dont miss any.
If they are going to try to be successful in an industry that is demanding wealthier customers every year, then they better step up and act like a professional.
Sorry, had to vent. Maybe next time they will read the brochure on the machine before advertising it. :frech32:
