I can buy a brand new Polaris roller secondary, from Polaris for $90 delivered. My question is: will this help my 96 XLT SP or should I try setting up my "button" clutch differently. I'm just looking for a little better performance...

One other question... I saw Pockets give advice on setting up button clutch with an 070 belt... how is that belt different from a 3211045 or 42 belt?

thanks

That Polaris roller will work nice on the XLT. Use the R8 helix from polaris, and get a hot seat white secondary spring as well to use with it. The 070 is the new version of the 1042 and 1045, different belt face angle which is supposed to grip the clutches better. The polaris roller uses different helixes than your button.

Thanks Pockets...
