Full Version: Injector oils

Brent will Doo
I have used BRP standard injector oil in my sleds for a couple of years. I would like to switch to a synthetic oil. Which ones would be rated the best. I also want to use one that smells good.

Bought 4 jugs ($85.00) of Bombardier semi synthetic while at the Novi show. I figure that they all have there faults so just stick with the original.

You should look for oils which are rated at minimum "Jaso FC" or better yet "ISO-L-EGD+" these ratings will be listed on the containers.

Klotz, Blue Marble, IPONE, or Legend ZX-2R. They all smell pretty good to me.

I don't know why, but Amsoil Interceptor is probably the worst smelling oil out there. The guys I ride with that use it are REQUIRED to be behind me!
