I'm considering the purchase of an 05 trail/dlx leftover. I know its not a high performance sled but comfortable trail riding is what I'm after. Does anyone have any experience with this model?

I have the 04 version. Great sled for what you want it to do. In perfect conditions it will get up to 70mph.Runs up to 50 pretty good, after that it's SSSSlow.

Thank's Towrope....speed is not as important to me as the ride. Any news on excessive darting, bottoming out or other suspension issues?

There is all kinds of adjustment in the rear .Have your dealer show you.
I took the dual carbides off and put on 6in. eazy steers, no darting problems that I can remember.
