All the talk on this site about stud length is B/S. You cant run huge studs
When you let up at 115 the track bunches up in the front.

i think user2 is right on the money, it looks like its caused by the track ballooning on decell at big speed. do you run your track real loose??

:drunk: I do run my tracks loose almost on the verge of racheting! They sure roll easy.Geuss i'll have to tighten it a bit!! dunno.gif

I took out the cooler on my T-CAT several years ago..When I repaired it
I put steel stripes on the cooler to protect it. I believe a rock hit blew the
front skid shock letting the track get lose. I was racing down a long road
over 120. Had made many runs when I bounced of a large rock hidden
under the snow on a turn around. When I let up on the next run I felt the
track hit underneath for just a few seconds. Good by cooler..Had .85 track
and 1.175 studs. What 120 HP will do isnt the same as 170 HP at high speed.

yeah, you might have to snug it up a bit. i like running my track as loose as possible too, its so much easier on parts and runs with less friction.

you gotta run it tight if you run the 1.325's or taller studs...and try not to brake hard when going top speeds.
