in 1998 the 600cc triple mono block touring was called an XLT Touring, it is in the evolved chassis with three headlights behind one wide lens

The remote plastic filler neck that the radiator cap goes on is part
5433364 Filler-Remote Coolant $16US
it supercedes the old part 5431931

If you have a 1998 Ultra Touring individual cylinder reed valve 680cc triple with the aggressive body and the two bug-eyed headlights below the windshield, the answer is way different.

is this for your touring??

..no its for my 1989 indy 400...its the filler neck on the top of the block..i circled it in the pic

what exactly is wrong with it?? if it's a crack or warped you can hammer back into shape and then solder the cracks. the neck is made from brass and brass is an easy metal to work. if the bottom is slightly warped and not sealing, you can add a layer of solder and then sand it to a flat finish. jut lay some 200 grit sandpaper on a flat surface and swirl the neck around until the bottom is flat again.

The spot where the lid latches on to it half of that little lip thing is gone so it wont seal all the way
